The First Loose Tooth
Vanessa came downstairs this morning very excited - one of her front teeth was wobbly! A major event for her, as she knows it is a sign of growing up. She's also excited about the idea of the tooth fairy coming to visit her (and leaving some money or gift behind).
Vanessa came downstairs this morning very excited - one of her front teeth was wobbly! A major event for her, as she knows it is a sign of growing up. She's also excited about the idea of the tooth fairy coming to visit her (and leaving some money or gift behind).
One of her favourite Franklin stories has been about Franklin and the Tooth Fairy. Franklin, being a turtle, does not have teeth, and at one point he puts a fake tooth under his pillow. The tooth fairy, of course, is not fooled. About a week ago, while putting Vanessa to bed, she showed me a sticker she had of a tooth that she placed under her pillow. Again, the tooth fairy was not fooled. ;-)
