I Am Proud to Announce...
The birth of our second daughter, Annie Evelyn. 7lbs 8oz. Born at 8:33pm. A speedy labour -- the mid-wife was barely at the door of our home when Erika began labour in earnest. What we thought was going to take a long time, didn't. The birth occured at home, in our bed.

Okay, the Baby Is Coming
Turns out Erika's been having mild contractions since about 5:30am this morning (which is explains why she was up before me -- a rare thing). She didn't tell me because she didn't want me to fret.
Turns out Erika's been having mild contractions since about 5:30am this morning (which is explains why she was up before me -- a rare thing). She didn't tell me because she didn't want me to fret.
As I write, the contracts are about 5 minutes apart and last for about 45 seconds apiece.
We've got a long way to go...
