Mother Doing Better, Hopefully
My mother did see the doctor yesterday as I had urged her to do, and I am glad she did. He ran an ECG test and I believe he did some bloodwork as well. In any event he determined that her situation was not serious at this point in time, and sent her home, instead of to the hospital (which I had half expected). He did tell her off for not calling emergency services during her "episode" though, and I hope this sinks in. When I talked to her last night I also mildly rebuked her, saying that we do want her to stick around for as long as possible. ;-) I plan to keep tabs on the results from her tests though, and I really had better make the trek to go and visit her sometime soon, to ensure she is alright.

I emailed my Uncle John again, telling him what had happened, and hopefully putting his mind to rest about his sister's condition.
