Erika Starts a New Movie
This is Day One of Erika's new movie, called "Cold Creek Manor". I haven't read the script yet so I don't know much about it beyond the fact that it's starring Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone, and is directed by Mike Figgis the guy who did Time Code and Loss of Sexual Innocence.

Much of it is being shot in Cambridge, which is about an hour-and-a-half's drive from Toronto, which means that the production company is putting the crew up in a nearby Holiday Inn. That means Erika is there until the end of shooting on Friday. Of course I will miss her, but poor Vanessa was beside herself when she understood that what we have been telling her about the past month or so finally begins today, and that she won't see her Mommy until next weekend. I think she took heart that as a big sister she had to help Annie understand what is going on, and comfort her. They are both in good hands with Irene in the house as a nanny.
