Alternate Care
Today I got the news from the social worker at the Hospital: the presiding doctor has official assessed Mom as needing "alternate" care.

So, it's official. Mom needs more care than she can get in her home.

Today I was also faxed the documentation by the Real Estate agent necessary for listing the house. Asking price: $89,900. I could've signed everything and sent it right back, but I wanted to sleep on it first.

Big stuff. Can’t help feeling a bit weird about the import of it all.
