Baby Milestone: Annie Walking
Man, these baby milestones are so much fun to watch. Ever since the weekend, little Annie has been taking halting steps. It usually seems to work like this: there's an audience and then she'll decide to stand up all by her herself, and then she will take a few tentative steps, all while wearing the biggest grin possible.
Man, these baby milestones are so much fun to watch. Ever since the weekend, little Annie has been taking halting steps. It usually seems to work like this: there's an audience and then she'll decide to stand up all by her herself, and then she will take a few tentative steps, all while wearing the biggest grin possible.
Typical example: Vanessa and I are in the living room. Annie is playing on the floor. There's a pillow in the center of the floor. Annie looks around, makes sure she has our attention. Then she stands up, takes a couple of steps and dives right for the waiting pillow. Applause all around. ;-)
As the days go by, she is taking more and more steps. Best example was when I finished work at home, emerged from the basement and Irene let an already-standing Annie go, and a happy Annie grins and walks my way.
I know I've said it before, but babies are cool. ;-)
