New Year's on a Yacht?
Erika spoke to her Father the other day. She doesn't want to head to France to visit right away, as she wants to get back into the routine of things with her daughters first, now that she's finished her film.
Erika spoke to her Father the other day. She doesn't want to head to France to visit right away, as she wants to get back into the routine of things with her daughters first, now that she's finished her film.
But it turns out that his yacht will be back in the Caribbean by the end of this month, and he's extended an open invitation to having us come down there. We pick the destination, and he'll pick us up. Not bad. ;-)
So we've made tentative plans to come and join him immediately after Xmas, and likely spend our New Year's down south. Current favourite: the British Virgin Islands. If we could expect extended time ashore we might head for Martinique instead, but Erika knows that her Father likes to sail, and The BVI's are a great place to do just that. It's certainly my first pick of destinations to go to down there -- I pretty much fell in love with the place the first time we were there.
