The Joy of Taxes
Yeah, right.

There are few things I hate more than doing paperwork. If it requires me to fill in a form, chances are good I'll procrastinate over it. Another thing I procrastinate over is ordering my tax documents. This makes for an interesting "tax day" for me, and I ended up taking piles and piles of papers, receipts, maybe-receipts and assorted bumpf and splaying them all over the kitchen table and then trying to order everything into sensible piles of like-info.

I started getting into this in the early afternoon, after finishing off some stuff for The Computer Paper. I managed to get everything organized and tidied up shortly before 11pm. Ugh. And that's only my taxes, and not my late Mother's stuff (I found most of what I needed, but I think I "filed" everything else I need in a filefolder I wasn't able to locate).

With everything categorized and amount tallied and re-tallied, now I just have to schlep it over to the accountant.
