Annie fell down with a slight fever and Erika needed some serious nap-time herself, so I took Vanessa to see the Winnie-the-Pooh-based Piglet’s Big Movie at the local rep cinema. She had seen The Tigger Movie when it came out a couple of years ago, and was keen on seeing this one.
Cute movie, and I can see why it came recommended – covers the themes of friendship and selflessness well. But when Vanessa came out of it, she told me that while she enjoyed it, it was really "an Annie movie". In other words, it was more a film for her younger sister than for her. "But I'm glad I saw this before I am all grown up". ;-)
I got an email this morning from Bryce saying that Aggie had given birth to their first child, a boy, 6lb 7oz. No name yet, as Bryce said to me, they wanted to live with him for a while first to see what name best fits. For now, he is "garcon bebe McBride". ;-)
Funny, it seems as though few of my close friends from my University days have opted for having kids. Other than Jenny and Hugh, Bryce and Aggie are the only other people I can think of from my University days who have chosen to have kids.
