The Day After
In order to recover from jet lag, Erika wisely suggested that I plan to take off of work the day after we got back. It is just as well, for while I didn't feel to jet lagged (it is much worse going on the trip over) Erika was flat out sick, her cough much worse, and energy down to almost zero. So it was very much another Dad-day, with me taking Vanessa to school (she was up for it), then take Annie to the drop-in center and then pick up Vanessa and bring her home and make some lunch. I initially had plans for the evening but cancelled them to spend the time with the kids and give Erika the chance to further rest up.
