Two Hours in Paris
Erika sent me a Web link from the travel agent as to where and how I will be flying to France to meet the rest of the family who will have already spent a week in the St. Tropez area before I get there. Turns out I get a couple of hours in Paris, though all this really means is that I get to hang out in Charles de Gaulle airport for that time.

While this may not seem to thrilling -- and truly it is not (and this is after all the airport in which part of its roof collapsed a few months ago) -- I am glad to have a bit more of a "cushion" this time. We ostensibly had an hour between flights in Frankfurt en-route to Nice, which was considerably eroded by poor weather that delayed the flight. (More info on the events on that day can be found under the Blog entry: "The Dash Through Frankfurt". ;-) So having the extra hour is welcome.

Not enough time to see the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower or anything else, but it should at least give me the chance to buy something for the girls at the airport -- after all, a Dad should not arrive empty-handed under these circumstances. ;-)
