Happiness is a Rummage Sale
Was planning on taking the girls to the Science Centre today, but I spotted a sign saying that there was a rummage sale at the local church, so we decided to head there first.

It was on behalf of a charity to save Yorkie dogs, apparently. We got there relatively early, and Vanessa spotted a Spirograph set, and Annie a doll that she fell immediately in love with. In the kid book pile I found some Winnie the Pooh books for Annie and four Charlie Brown books, at least a couple of them copies of titles I had bought as a kid back in the early 70s. Those and a baggie of yorkie-shaped shortbread cookies cost all of $5.

The kids wanted head home to play with their new booty, so instead of going to the Science Centre we ended up spending a rainy day inside reading and making colourful patterns with the spirograph.
