Busy Saturday
I had originally planned for today to just be a nice, unhurried day spent visit Aunt Audrey and taking her to the ROM with the girls. Then Annie was invited to a friend's birthday party, which started at 1pm. And then I heard a playdate was set up with Vanessa and one of her friends at 2pm.
I had originally planned for today to just be a nice, unhurried day spent visit Aunt Audrey and taking her to the ROM with the girls. Then Annie was invited to a friend's birthday party, which started at 1pm. And then I heard a playdate was set up with Vanessa and one of her friends at 2pm.
So we only spent just over two hours with Audrey at the revamped ROM, and then dashed away by cab across the city to take Annie to her birthday party, and then, after picking up a new Tamogatchi for Vanessa (which had been "picked up" by somebody along with her lunchbox at gym camp the other day) got her home on time to greet her playdate visitor.
A fun -- though rushed -- day was had by all.
Found out later that even that Jean had broken her leg, slipping on some black ice while out shopping for aquarium supplies with Erika's sister Jennifer, who has been in town for the week. Broke the news to Erika when she returned from her trumpet practice.
