Stolen Gear
Ugh. Sometime last evening, somebody burgled my wife's equipment van, which contains some of her location sound recording equipment. Don't have the specifics yet, but at least a few $Ks-worth of equipment has been hefted away.
Ugh. Sometime last evening, somebody burgled my wife's equipment van, which contains some of her location sound recording equipment. Don't have the specifics yet, but at least a few $Ks-worth of equipment has been hefted away.
The gear is highly specialized and would likely have a low resale value. And Erika has the registration numbers for everything, so it should easily be spotable should it turn up somewhere locally.
I always felt leery about keeping the stuff in the van, and now we will have to keep everything more securely in the house as a result.
We have good neighbours though -- a couple across the street from us have given us the use of their slightly-more-secure parking spot in the meantime.
The whole thing is more than a little creepy of course.
