When I went by this place on Sunday I didn’t know exactly what it was, and figured it was a children’s museum (the banners announcing the Fantasy exhibition were what led me to think that). The tip off should have been the Jimmy Hendrix banner, but for some reason it didn’t register (and while I recognize that Hendrix is one the 60’s era musical greats, can’t say I listen to his stuff much anymore). My co-presenter at the conference I am presenting at arrived late yesterday and told me that the place was essentially a pop culture mecca, especially for SciFi geeks, so we decided to head there during a lull in the conference.
The place is well worth the visit, and here are some pics I took of what’s inside.
